Zak joined the Martin Aitken Group in July 2019.

Zak started his career working in the Accounts & Audit department providing assistance with the preparation of year-end accounts for start-up businesses, to established SME companies, working directly with clients to deliver training on Xero allowing clients to submit quarterly VAT returns and keep track of their business operations.

In October 2022 Zak moved to the tax department where he manages a portfolio of clients, ensuring that they meet deadlines and keep up to date with the ever-changing tax legislation. Zak’s day-to-day consists of preparing self-assessment, partnership and trust tax returns, as well as advising his clients on tax and bookkeeping matters.

In his spare time, Zak likes to volunteer with Scouts as well as travelling Europe.
