Requirements

Key skills & attributes: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of practice accountancy experience
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects in line with training, company guidelines and management direction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and colleagues

Main responsibilities:

  • Year-end accounts (LTD/Sole trader/Partnerships)
  • Management accounts
  • Working knowledge of business tax
  • Responding to client queries
  • Keeping job stages up to date on practice management software
  • Managing deadlines
  • Assisting less experienced team members.

Relevant accounting qualifications (ATT, ACCA, or part qualified) are advantageous but not essential.
